Sara Tendulkar, the daughter of Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, has become quite the popular figure among cricket fans due to her effervescent presence on social media.
Throw in the fact that there have been rumours for quite some time that she is dating rising India star Shubman Gill, and it is easy to understand why it is that she is someone constantly talked about in cricketing circles.
However, this has also sometimes led to some banter from cricketing fans in the comments section of her posts. And this is exactly what happened when she posted a picture from her recent vacation.
Sara had posted about her vacation in Kenya, but her latest Instagram post features her posing alongside an unnamed local man.

“Thinking of whether or not to post today but I Masai I made the right decision,” she cheekily posted, in reference to the fact that the pictures were clicked in Masai Mara, Kenya.
But most fans were quick to cotton on to the fact that she was pictured alongside a local man who was neither tagged nor named in the picture.
As such, her comments were flooded with a number of humourous jokes that directly referenced Gill as well.
“Gaddari karbe hamse – Shubman Gill,” read one comment. “After seeing Gill’s performances in the WTC final, she decided to let him go,” joked another user.
“Shubman Gill bhai ka dil tod diye re,” read another comment in reference to the power couple. “Saath mein Shubman hota toh acha hota Sara ji,” quipped one user.
“Side waale ke liye like button,” added another user, joking at the fact that most were liking the picture for Sara and not the unnamed local.
There have been rumours regarding Gill and Sara for quite some time, even though it is worth noting that neither of them have actually come out in the open to confirm it.
However, eagle-eyed fans have noticed that Gill’s sister does follow and has interacted with Sara on social media too.

There have also been some more fans who have made note of the fact that Sara and Gill often post about being in similar locations, just without tagging or including each other in their pictures.
And while Sara has no interest in a cricketing career, her brother Arjun has made strides in the sport and even played a handful of games for Mumbai Indians in IPL 2023.
